Exmoor National Park was designated the first dark sky reserve in Europe and second in the world, thanks to the lack of light pollution caused by busy roads, vast areas of houses and street lights. To ensure guests have the very best chance of spotting those shooting stars we provide a telescope in each guestroom

The Pinkery

Our largest guestroom, The Pinkery accommodates upto two guests – large king-size bed with sumptuous linens and all the modern day essentials such as smart TV and super fast fibre Wi-fi. The meandering view from the window across the valley to Challacombe woods, can be enjoyed from both the bedroom and the luxurious en-suite bathroom with roll-top bath.

The PiXIE

The smaller of our two guestrooms, but none the less impressive, The Pixie accommodates upto two guests – small double with sumptuous linens and all of the modern day essentials such as smart TV and superfast fibre wifi. Relaxing views over our smallholding and a perfect view of the nights sky from the bed through the well situated sky light. Refresh after a busy days adventure in stylish ensuite Tadelakt wetroom with powerful walk-in shower.

Relax next to a cosy log fire after a breath taking walk on the moors, or return from a busy day at the beach to a BBQ feast. The well equipped BBQ & cold food preparation area is located within the breakfast room, opening out onto the south facing terrace.

Served at a time that suits you between 08.00 -11.00 our delicious continental breakfast which includes seasonal and locally sourced ingredient’s subject to change. Such as pastries, fresh fruit salads, cereals, bread, cold meats and cheeses, fresh orange juice and hot drinks. To pre-order your continental breakfast simply “add to basket” and follow the check out process, where you will be prompted to select your preferred time and date. additional cooked dishes, take-away items and guest services may also be added to your order.
